ABOUT US

¡Hola! Welcome to Brentwood Spanish Tutoring!

My name is Begoña and I’m a language teacher originally from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.  I am now based in Essex, UK and teach Spanish in Brentwood and the surrounding local areas. I have obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold an enhanced DBS check.

I have a huge passion for teaching languages and have been tutoring for the past eight years.  It is extremely rewarding to see how students progress and develop their language speaking and communication skills!

I understand that every student is unique and always ensure tutoring sessions are specifically tailored to each student’s level and needs.  Every lesson is different and is delivered in a creative and enjoyable way to maximise learning.

If you are interested in enquiring about tutoring sessions or would like any further information, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in contact via phone, email or the form on the contact  page.

Thank you for your interest and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Teaching Experience:

Education/Certifications:

I have been a private tutor since 2013, teaching English to Spanish students in Tenerife, Spain.

Since moving to Brentwood in January 2020 I have been working in the local area, providing tutoring sessions to students who wish to learn Spanish.  I have also been teaching Spanish to students online via Skype and Zoom.

Alongside my school, college and university studies, I have worked at several teaching positions and internships in Tenerife over the last several years.  I also have experience working in a secondary school in the UK covering the GCSE and A Level curriculums.

These roles have given me a wide range of experience teaching in both a classroom environment as well as privately, to students of all ages and levels.
